Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions Arrives on Nintendo Switch

On April 16th, 2019 the hugely successful trading card game, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions, became available for Nintendo Switch!

PlayFusion and Games Workshop proudly present WAS:C for Nintendo Switch, which supports full crossplay with the Steam version of the game, as well as the mobile iterations to allow players to challenge both friends and foes around the world and across platforms with custom decks from one of the four Grand Alliances, but goes farther than even that. This popular TCG brings a unique aspect to the genre by incorporating a cross-play feature between digital and physical versions of the game, allowing players to scan their physical cards and add them to their collection to be claimed on the battlefield. Players are also able to access the TCG on the go or at home through Joy-con and touch screen support.

Along with this release on the Nintendo Switch comes an entirely new single-player adventure entitled Realm Trials. In this new adventure, players will endeavor to conquer the Mortal Realms through dozens of hours of content and legendary battles. Let’s not forget the entirely new battle mode, Arena of Echoes, that will allow players a whole new experience in gameplay.

In this new mode, players will draft decks from 2 given alliances to create their own deck from a random selection of cards and attempt to gain entry to the prize Gauntlet by battling through a series of League rounds.

Arena of Echoes and Realm Trials are only the two newest additions to an already robust collection of narrative campaigns, multiple game modes such as Ranked, Casual play, and, of course, seasonal challenges and leaderboards.
