Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition Brings End Times To Your High Street

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition is now lurking with intent on your high street, boxed up and ready to take on PlayStation 4 and Xbox owners.

After bringing The End Times to PC back in 2015 and bringing a sequel to gamers early 2018, publisher 505 games and developer Fatshark are letting the hordes loose on retail stores. Take a trip down to your local Game or Walmart and you best not go without a hastily prepared baguette to fend off the opposition. The retail version of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition is more than the very first console iteration of this Warhammer license.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition brings together the base version of Fatshark’s epic and a number of added extras. The DLCs, “Shadows Over Bögenhafen” and “Back to Ubersreik” are bundled in, as well as additional premium content including tailored missions (Heroic Deeds), character skins, a portrait frame, and the Sigmar Keep Statue.

Memories of Ubersreik

If you’re not already out the door and off to the nearest gaming store then you might want to know that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed and utterly chaotic multiplayer madness that is Warhammer: Vermintide. This First Person multiplayer allows up to four players to jump into events of the Warhammer Battles world. It takes place directly after the event of the first game and follows the repercussions of the siege of Ubersreik. It includes a diverse range of classes and a narrative that directly influences the way each character plays. After seeing off the Skaven in the original, players face a new enemy in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition, as well as 15 new career paths, brand new weapons, an improved loot system, and the same bloody carnage.

If you haven’t played Vermintide or Vermintide 2, you can find out more here. Retail copies of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Deluxe Edition is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at major stores, setting you back £34.99/€49.99/$49.99.
