If you’ve been looking forward to Warhammer Vermintide 2, you’ll be pleased with a new info dump made earlier today. In addition to the new info, Fatshark also announced the game’s release for Q1 2018.

Players have been engaging with the developers to make sure that the best possible experience is given to fans. The team has “analyzed hours of online play and listened to its community” to make that happen.
So what can you expect? Here are some of the juicy details.
During game play, you and up to three others can journey through a world filled with united Chaos & Skaven armies. You’ll be able to choose from 5 heroes and progress along 15 different career paths. In addition, you’ll have talent trees with other deep progression options to customize your hero. Along the way, you’ll continue the story from the first game in and around Helmgart.
Other features include:
- Twitch integration
- “overwhelming” enemy hordes
- an improved loot system
You can already preorder the game too, currently with a 10% discount. You’ll gain access to the beta as well as the DLC coming for Vermintide called “Death on the Reik”.
