Jesper Kyd is an award-winning Danish composer who has scored games including Hitman, Assassin’s Creed, Darksiders II and State of Decay. Now Kyd has turned his eye to Warhammer Vermintide II and is doing so with a Viking-inspired musical score due to Vermintide II’s Norse Chaos tribe.
Kyd’s original score is themed around ancient tribal music and dark magic fantasy elements. Kyd channels his Scandinavian roots, blending Viking and Norse-inspired vocals, ritualistic percussion styles and new custom-made instruments to create another unique soundtrack experience.
Vermintide II is set for release in Q1 2018. It can be preordered on Steam for $27 for the standard edition or $40.50 for the Collector’s Edition. You can also order Vermintide II for PlayStation 4 and XBox One.
