WarioWare: Get It Together Now

WarioWare: Get It Together now has a free demo for the Nintendo Switch, giving us all an opportunity to try out the latest minigames to drop in feature Nintendo’s own moustached miscreant.

Less of an antihero and just an animated meme, Wario is about to get a new outing when WarioWare: Get It Together launches on Nintendo Switch on 9 October. Before then, fans of the little yellow troublemaker will be able to get hands-on with the upcoming party game with a brand new Demo for WarioWare: Get It Together. Available now on the Nintendo eShop, players can download a curated selection of the 200 mini-games that the final game will entail.

For anybody that missed the WarioWare series when it first launched on the Nintendo Gamecube, this adventure is less like the platformers that plumbing duo Mario and Luigi get entangled in and instead pits players against a range of minigames in an effort to outdo their opponents. The newest cartoon chaos comes with a range of other friends for Wario, each with their own absurd add on abilities and strengths in each of the title’s upcoming challenges. Wario, for example, has a jet pack to dash across the screen with.

There are plenty of options if you don’t have any friends over quite yet too. WarioWare: Get It Together includes a story mode as well as a Wari Cup mode, a rotating weekly challenge where players can win trophies to earn in-game currency. If you were considering getting the newest WarioWre then head over to the Nintendo eShop grab a couple of JoyCons and pick a partner to challenge.
