If you’ve been missing classic Wartune gameplay, we’ve got good news. R2Games has announced that Wartune Reborn, a reimagining of the classic game, has been released. The updated “3D turn-based SRPG browser game” comes with a number of overhauled systems and features.
Players will get to experience “the classical systems” of the original game with three classes already released: Archer, Knight, and Mage. Each comes with a variety of strengths that can change the course of any battle.
Cloud City has also been overhauled. As with most RPGs, players will find the city packed with NPCs, quests, activities and more. “Communication in Warturn Reborn is easier and more rewarding than in other games of its kind. Players can now communicate in different ways. Click a player and choose an interaction.” The details of what this means are a bit sketchy, but it’s worth a shot to try out.
