Gato Salvaje has released a brand new trailer showing off the character creation process in its upcoming RPG, Waylanders. The video also features a look at gameplay but you’d best look quickly! All of this takes place in less than a minute.
It’s a good thing that the site and Steam pages both have extensive information about the sights that pass so quickly before a viewer’s eyes. According to the written information, players can choose from a number of base classes, races, and backgrounds. Base classes include Warrior, Guardian, Rogue, Ranger, Sorcerer, and Healer. Races include Human, Mourian, Half-Fomorian, and Werewolf. Lastly, backgrounds include Celtic Soldier, Celtic Druid, Egyptian, Mourian Diplomat, Mourian Protector, Dogs of Ares Mercenary, Alpha Wolf, and Slave.
The game is being developed by veterans of both BioWare and Telltale Games. It is inspired by classic RPGs including Dragon Age: Origins and Baldur’s Gate. It sends players off on a time-traveling adventure through some of the most iconic points in history with a combination of both realtime and tactical combat.
