The events of We Happy Few take place in a small English tower in 1960’s. Where fake, drug-induced happiness masks violence as well as vices of society. A certain specific person, free of drug addiction, risks their life to find out the mysteries of his home.
Players will have to sate the basic needs of their character such as hunger, thirst and sleep to survive. Whether you want to use stealth or confront other characters in combat is also up to you. The game also offers unique events, crafting as well as using environment and traps to players’ advantage.
Gold Circle Films and DJ2 Entertainment Partner to Adapt Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few as Feature Film
DJ2 was immediately taken with the game’s characters and setting. They have approached Compulsion Games with ideas on how to adapt the game to a film. Additionally, the task at hand would be to keep its menace, dark humor as well as central themes.
