We’re Hooked On The I Am Fish Demo

Forget staying indoors, today’s your chance to escape the bowl as Bossa Studios and Curve Digital unveil a demo for I Am Fish.

Certain to make something of a splash when it lands for real, I Am Fish is yet another animal adventure from the studio that sampled Pigeon Simulator. Now players can forget about being pigeon food as they take control of a small-scale hero making a break for the sanctuary of the sea. While we’re not entirely sure if it involves any friendly sharks, this orange protagonist is available to roll onto PCs right now, thanks to this newly announced demo.

If you haven’t already guessed from the trailer, above, I Am Fish puts you finally in the fins of an aquatic pet. Following the fates of four fishy friends, this particular tail is a charming physics-based endeavour that seems set to roll, swim, fly, roll and chomp through the heart of Barnardshire county. As you Roll across rooftops and dodge traffic, it’s up to your quick wits to keep these four alive, while having a whale of a time. The demo provides players with a sampling of the full thing, offering up the complete first Goldfish level.

I Am Fish looks like a game that is as infuriating as it is charming and the teams behind this have also announced they’re looking to make more than just an impact on your pocket. Curve Digital and Bossa Studios are proud to announce their partnership with Whale and Dolphin Conservation [US] [EU/UK]. WDC is a UK-registered charity (no. 1014705) and is the leading global charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins. With a vision of a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free, WDC fights for the survival of these beautiful creatures by ending captivity, stopping whaling, preventing deaths in nets, and creating healthy seas. A donation from the sale of each copy of I Am Fish sold on Steam will go directly to WDC.

If you have the same sort of good f-EEL-ing we do about this then head over to the Steam Store page now and cast your eyes of I Am A Fish. Fin
