Armature Studio has announced that its surreal indie title, Where the Heart Is, will be coming to PlayStation 4 in winter 2020. The story centers on one man’s journey to return to his family after a cataclysmic event. In the strange new world he has tumbled into, the man witnesses the events of his life and even gains the power to change it.
At pivotal moments in Whit’s dreamlike reflection, at the points in time and space where lives change forever, make new choices or stick with the decisions which helped form his family. Answer, for Whit, what life would have been like. If he’d stood with his brother. If he’d stayed behind. If he’d taken the leap. If he’d said ‘Yes.’
One of the goals of the game is to allow players a chance to reflect on their own lives while working through Whit’s. “Perhaps they’ll find the grass really is greener or that ‘home’ was inside them all along,” wrote Todd Keller.
While a more specific date has not been announced, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when it is revealed.
