Epic Games has announced the arrival of Winterfest 2021 in Fortnite. The event will run from now through January 6th. Along the way, players can collect up to 14 special Presents that include a pair of Outfits. There is also a secret third Outfit that can be gained “another way”, though how remains unknown.
Get your shaking and guessing skills ready: we don’t want to spoil all the Presents, but we will reveal the two Outfits. Meet Krisabelle, a festive take on the community-inspired Isabelle, and Polar Peely, one cool banana (literally). Unwrap the Krisabelle Outfit after unwrapping the six Presents obstructing her, and unwrap Polar Peely after his giftbox thaws.
Unsurprisingly for a sergeant — of winter no less — Sgt. Winter has wintery objectives awaiting you. Every day for 14 days, he’ll announce a new Winterfest Quest in the “Quests” page, each one with an XP reward! All Winterfest Quests are available to complete until Winterfest ends (Jan. 6 at 9 AM ET). For completing seven Winterfest Quests, you’ll unlock the Snowmando Board Glider, and for completing ten, the Ffrosty Back Bling.
There are tons of other activities as well including:
- Winterfest creator maps offer players goodies for playing 2+ hours on them. Goodies include Ol’Cracky Emoticon, Llamistletoe Spray, a Merry Marauder Banner, and a 2022 New Year’s Banner
- Sgt Winter is bringing back some nifty items including Chiller Grenades, Snowball Launchers, and the Sneaky Snowman disguise
- Spider-man and MJ outfits are available in the in-game shop
- Players logging into the game via the Epic Games Launcher from now through January 6th will receive the Blizzabelle gift outfit
