Developer Dead Mage (Children of Morta) and publisher Humble Games shared a new trailer for the upcoming roguelite Wizard of Legend 2, revealing that the game is arriving in Early Access on October 3.
In an age of myth and magic, ambitious wizards from around the world have assembled to undertake the perilous Trials of Legend in the Floating Lands. Many will try. Most will fail. Only those who have truly mastered the chaotic, shifting elemental forces of Arcana will become a Wizard of Legend!
“We are excited to announce that Wizard of Legend 2 will be coming to Early Access on Steam this October 3rd! The development team will be continuing to work hard on refining the game to make it the best experience it can be! We’ll be looking for your feedback once Early Access releases, and appreciate everyone’s thoughts and support so far!”
The developers expect the game to remain in the Early Access phase for at least six months. That time will allow the team to involve the community in shaping how Wizard of Legend 2 evolves. Over time, the game will receive new biomes, additional multiplayer features, enhancements to its storyline, and more.
The Early Access version will be fully playable, featuring two unique biomes to explore and master, a 2-player multiplayer mode, and more. The full version of Wizard of Legend 2 will include:
- All game biomes, compared to the two available in Early Access. Two additional biomes will be introduced over time.
- 4-player co-op multiplayer, expanding from the current 2-player mode.
- A more developed and evolving storyline.
- More arcana and relics will be available.
