Galvanic Games and Devolver Digital have announced that 4-player co-op is coming to Wizard with a Gun as part of the game’s May update. The free update is titled “Better Together” and, as the name implies, co-op sits squarely in the driver’s seat. Players can team up with other Geomancers to take on the forces of Chaos. The update is expected to launch on Monday, May 13th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Players need to be aware that, as their party number increases, so does the power of their enemies. More on your team means more firepower and danger to those who dare.
In addition to co-op play, fans will find the addition of difficulty modes added as part of the update. Players can choose any one of four difficulty settings: Ranger (Easy), Gunslinger (Normal), Sheriff (Hard), and Outlaw (Very Hard).
Players will also enjoy creating their tailor-made difficulty mode by tweaking a number of variables. These include making enemies stronger and faster or slower and weaker. Penalties for death can be adjusted to make them harsher or less severe. The choice belongs to the player.
