KingsIsle Entertainment and Gamigo have announced that Wizard101 EU players will be “coming home” starting the week of May 16th. Gamigo is taking over publishing services for the MMORPG in Europe from its current host, Gameforge. The goal is, of course, to make the transition as seamless as possible.
EU players will need to register a new KingsIsle account before May 16th when the move to Gamigo servers will begin. After doing so, players will receive a personal transition code that will transfer all of their game progress and Crowns balances to their new KI accounts.
“Wizard101 European players have been wanting a closer connection to the KingsIsle team and community for a long time now,” says Marc Berekoven, Gamigo Director Marketing – Launch Department. “The teams at KingsIsle and Gamigo are excited to be working on new ways to reach new European players, and support existing players, that simply weren’t possible before.”
