Worms WMD: Mobilize has invaded Android and iOS devvices
Worms, the cute cartoon army from Team17, is about to take on a whole new campaign across iOS and Android devices. Available right now, Worms WMD: Mobilize is a mobile version of the 2016 classic turn-based action strategy game, with all the silly action that makes this series endearingly chaotic. Initially released back in 2016, this entry into the Worms series reinvigorated the spineless little warriors with new vehicles that turned simple skirmishes into a cratered battlefield.
Now you can roll into battle in a tank or armored walker, reuse classic tools like the ninja rope, or call in an air tike on the small screen. Worms WMD: Mobilize is available directly from the Play Store and App Store for £4.99/$5.99/€5.99. It includes plenty of mobile-first enhancements for this price point. The action unfolds at 60 frames per second with mobile UI configurations and integrations with the likes of Watsapp on offer, so you can talk trash and wield deadly sheep-styled attacks.
Exploding sheep aren’t the only thing we’re looking forward to using. The WMD iteration of this series includes vehicles from the original game including the tank and mech, along with 50 weapons, and a single-player mode consisting of 10 training missions and 20 campaign missions, each with three additional objectives for repeat play. Over 100 hats, more than 40 different sound banks, 15 victory dances, and over 30 varieties of gravestones are included for your use online and over local multiplayer mode, for teams of up to four. Check out more on the iOS and Android storefronts now.
