Developer Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the new update for MMORPG World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will be launching on July 11. In patch 10.1.5 titled Fractures in Time, players will face the new threat from the Infinite Dragonflight. It will offer new mega-dungeon Dawn of the Infinite, new Evoker spec: Augmentation, new public event, questlines and dailies, dragonriding event, warlock race updates & pet customization and more!
New Mythic-only Mega-Dungeon: Dawn of the Infinite will feature eight bosses that will take players across the timeways to prevent Nozdormu’s transformation into Murozond. You’ll face Iridikron, among others, as you work to sustain Azeroth’s timeline and put things to rights once more.
New Evoker DPS Spec: Augmentation will become available immediately with the release of the Fractures in Time Update. Augmentation Evokers focus the powers of the Bronze Dragonflight and the newly gained powers of the Black Dragonflight to aid their allies on the battlefield with various buffs sustained through damage done in combat, becoming WoW’s first “support” specialization.
New public event: Time Rifts. As the boundaries between the timelines weaken, minions from other timelines have begun making their way into Azeroth. Join other players to take on Time Rifts, push back against the waves of minions, and plug the hole to set the timeways straight again.
Whelp Daycare. You’ll guide five dragon whelps as they grow and learn about the dragon flights, earn Renown, and more.
Warlock Class Update. Warlock class will become available to Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls.
Class Balance & Tuning. As will all updates, Fractures in Time will have a new round of balance and tuning across Classes.
BEYOND THE FRACTURES IN TIME
Blizzard also shed light on what is coming further beyond, after patch 10.1.5. In Fall 2023, players can expect to receive new story and quests, holiday refresh and even content & system updates in a minor patch. However, at a later point Dragonflight will receive another major update with the following additions:
- New zone & story content;
- New Raid;
- New open world challenges;
- New Renown track & activities;
- New PvP Season;
- New Mythic+ Dungeon Pool;
- New content and features.
