WoW Dragonflight Legacies: Chapter Two is Out

Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared the second animated short from the Legacies series, celebrating the upcoming arrival of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight and providing players with glimpses into the Aspects’ past. Join Nozdormu, Aspect of the Bronze Dragonflight, as he encounters a disoriented warrior with fragmented memories. Sensing the warrior’s importance, Nozdormu seeks to guide her by offering a glimpse of his own distant past.

The first chapter took a look at the distant events: the rise and the fight of not-yet Dragon Aspects against the corrupted proto-dragon Galakrond. These events have been explored in depths in the cycle of novels “Dawn of the Aspects” by Richard A. Knaak.

The second chapter is dedicated to the Aspect of the Black Dragonflight, Neltharion, better known as Deathwing. He had participated in a great number of events and had been featured as a character in several novels such as War of the Ancients Trilogy, Tides of Darkness, Beyond the Dark Portal and more. Finally, the great black dragon’s schemes were put to an end in Cataclysm where Deathwing fell from his own creation.

What does it mean for the rest of the Black Dragonflight and his surviving progeny: Abyssian, Sabellian and Wrathion as well as the Dracthyr who have been awakened from their slumber? Find the answers in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight once the expansion launches on November 28. Check out the official site to learn more.

Legacies is not the first set of animated shorts to introduce main topics of the expansion. For Mists of Pandaria, Blizzard released the Burdens of Shaohao, Warlords of Draenor were introduced in the series called Lords of War, main characters of Legion got explored in Harbingers shorts. Battle for Azeroth revealed the three main characters from unusual sides in Warbringers and, finally, Shadowlands introduced Covenants via Afterlives.
