Blizzard Entertainment loves cross-over events between World of Warcraft and its other iconic games. Beginning March 11, 2024, WoW players will experience an all-new cross-over when developers release Hearthstone’s 10th Anniversary event in the venerated MMORPG (via Icy-Veins). During the weeklong event, players can score several in-game rewards when heading to Ogrimmar, Stormwind, or Valdrakken, where the fun begins. Let’s take a look.
Mounts
During the special event, players can unlock two mounts: The Compass Rose, a disk mount with the Hearthstone logo on it, and the Fiery Hearthsteed. The latter is a cool callback to the original blue Hearthsteed released when Hearthstone launched. The Fiery Hearthsteed features the same rolled-up scrolls attached to its saddle and the same iconic look as its blue brother.
A Toy and a Pet
Players can add the Hearthstone Game Table to their toy collection. It will require finding ten Hearthstone cards in the game during the hunt for the “Hearthstone Beginner” achievement, the details of which are not completely known.
Sarge is a sweet looking white mouse pet with a stunning red scarf. It will be unlockable during the event.
Transmog Pieces
If there’s one thing any self-respecting WoW player loves, it’s the hunt for the perfect transmog. With the Hearthstone event, players can collect three new pieces: Reno’s Lucky Hat, Taverner’s Belt, and The Tavern’s Tabard. There’s no doubt that these items will be highly sought-after by players and will require some work to gather.
This event is part of the larger Dragonflight 10.2.5 “Seeds of Renewal” patch that includes:
- Worldwide dragon riding
- Azerotherian Archives – a weekly solo and group event
- Reclaiming Gilneas
- Dragonflight Follower Dungeons
- Dragon Isle epilogues
- Troll and Draenei customizations
- Warlock demon customizations
