WoW Shadowlands – Beyond the Veil Cinematic Introduces Players to the Afterlife

While the champions of the not-so-mighty Horde and the noble Alliance continue battling the rabid Scourge and investigating the mysterious abduction of the architects of peace, Blizzard dropped a new cinematic trailer for Shadowlands. The short video introduces adventurers to the main players of the expansion: Sire Denathrius of Revendreth, the Winter Queen of Ardenweald, the Necrolords of Maldraxxus and the Kyrians of Bastion. While both Maldraxxus and Bastion do have their own leaders, Primus and Archon respectively, they weren’t shown directly in the trailer.

Of course, we also get to see a glimpse of the new big bad: the newest threat to the entirety of the World of Warcraft Universe, the Jailer, awaiting players in the depths of the Maw.  Surprisingly, the Azeroth’s most wanted criminal and the person behind making the entire trip to the Shadowlands possible, Sylvanas Windrunner, is not present in the cinematic. Stay tuned to find out more!

The next phase of the Scourge invasion is now live and will continue to run until Shadowlands officially launches next week on November 23.
