The developers of MMORPG World of Warcraft have revealed that the latest update The Undermine(d) is now available on the public test realms. Join Game Designer, Battleground and Arenas David Hollings, Assistant Lead Quest Designer Mark Kelada, and host Community Manager Bethany Hudson for WoWCast to learn what’s coming in the next patch!
The new content will take players deep into the goblin city of Undermine, the very heart of the trade empire. Learn more about goblin culture and society, and what makes them tick – what’s important, what problems they’re trying to solve, and more. While at it, you will see how the conflict between Gallywix and Darkfuse heats up and threatens the place.
You will meet the four major goblin cartels while in the Undermine – Steamwheedle, Blackwater, Bilgewater, and the Venture Company – but which one to ally yourself with is up to you. There may also be a fifth cartel waiting in the wings to learn about a bit later.
“Your experience will change within the Undermine depending on which of these cartels you ally with. As you progress, you’ll gain access to customizations for your car within the Undermine, new transmog appearances, toys, and more.”
Players will also earn a customizable vehicle early on that is designed just for use in Undermine. As a part of the progression with your car, you’ll meet up with Nanny Talullah who will send you out on “Shipping and Handling” activities to earn currency and buy parts for your ride.
World of Warcraft: The War Within – Other Undermine(d) Additions Include:
- Prepare to explore two new Delves: Excavation Site 9 and Side Street Sluice.
- Brann, your ever-loyal companion in Delving, will receive a new Tanking spec allowing him to utilize some ranged tanking skills to help players who are more healing focused through the Delves.
- A week after the Undermine(d) content update lands, The War Within will kick off PvP Season 2. It will also offer a new arena called Cage of Carnage.
- New Dungeon – Operation: Floodgate, offering up to 4 boss encounters.
- New Raid – Liberation of Undermine. This 8-boss raid dungeon that takes you through the city streets and into the magnificent Gallagio, which houses the dark secrets of its owner— Gallywix.
