World of Warcraft: The War Within kicked off the next phase of the pre-expansion patch today with special in-game events that will take players on a nostalgic trip through the history of WoW’s greatest threats. Are you prepared to face the memories of Azeroth? Then mount your noble steed and skyride to take part in the Radiant Echoes event!
Radiant Echoes will invite the champions of Azeroth to face and eliminate the memories of Azeroth which have taken shape in the form of past enemies including player favorites such as the Lich King. For their efforts, players will earn residual memories which will be a currency used to purchase limited-time warband-bound gear. The event is available for characters level 10 to 70, regardless of whether the player owns the new expansion or not.
When: July 30 – August 26
Where: Dalaran (hub), Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and Searing Gorge
Currency: Residual Memories – Half forgotten memories can be glimpsed in the light playing across this iridescent powder.
Levels: 10-70
For those looking for more max level content, there’s also the Visions of Azeroth questline that was introduced together with the pre-patch. Players who have reached level 70 and have completed the final chapter of the Dragonflight questline will be called to take their next steps into the story leading into The War Within with the first part of the “Visions of Azeroth” questline.
