Developer Kuro Games shared a couple of new Wuthering Waves story cinematics, featuring both male and female Rover. The footage covers the main quest of Version 1.3: To the Shore’s End. If you haven’t beat the storyline yet and care for spoilers, you might want to wait.
The cinematic focuses on two characters: the Shorekeeper and Rover, as well as delves into their shared past, further explored through the events of the game.
“Just like you did for me before.”
The Shorekeeper is the latest limited 5-star Resonator, currently having her debut banner in-game. Her combat style is that of survival healing, pull / attraction, and damage amplification.
Wuthering Waves – Version 1.3 Additions & Events Include:
- New area: The Black Shores;
- New Story Quests;
- New Resonators: The Shorekeeper and Youhu.
- New feature: Portal Puzzles. With the help of a small robot named Kukoko, Rovers can fire energy pulses into “Data Overwrite Zones”, which activate the portals, allowing teleportation between isolated locales.
- New feature: Aetherfin. Aetherfin is the creature of Remnant Energy, a life form unique to the Black Shores. In version 1.3, Rover can surf to collect stray Aetherfins on the sea and steer them to their homeland to earn rewards!
- New Echo: Fallacy of No Return.
- New weapons.
