Developer Kuro Games is back with a new trailer for action RPG Wuthering Waves dedicated to the upcoming Version 1.2: In the Turquoise Moonglow. The update arrives on August 15, bringing new content, content optimizations and a number of new characters. All players will also be getting a limited 5-star character as a thank you from the developers!

Version 1.2 will introduce two new Resonators: Xiangli Yao (5-star Electro, Gauntlets user), whom all players will receive for free, and Zhezhi (5-star Glacio, Rectifier user). You can see both of them in action in the new Version trailer you can find above. Additionally, the developers have already introduced Version 1.3 characters.
In terms of optimizations, the developers have shared a separate blog post to prepare players for new and enhanced features.
- New Custom Lock-On Feature. This option allows you to set the auto lock-on priorities for enemies based on your combat preferences.
- New Utility Hoverdroid: Shooter. Once the Utilities feature is available, you can equip the Hoverdroid: Shooter in the Utility Wheel. To shoot with the Hoverdroid, simply tap or hold the Basic Attack button.
- New Feature to Store Excess Waveplate. Once you reach the Waveplate cap, you will receive Waveplate Crystals instead. These Crystals can be exchanged for Waveplates of equivalent value. You will regenerate 1 Waveplate Crystal every 12 minutes, up to 480 Waveplate Crystals. Once this limit is reached, you will not gain additional Waveplate Crystals.
- New Resonator Showcase Feature. With the release of Version 1.2, you can view and display the Convene scenes of unlocked Resonators with the Resonator Showcase feature.
