The developers from Kuro Games have introduced the events and characters of the upcoming Wuthering Waves Version 2.1: “Waves Sing and the Cerulean Birds Call”. Now it’s time to pull for the next Rinascita dwellers Phoebe and Brant, and face the Jinzhou Counselor Changli once again. The new exploration quest “Silent as a Falling Leaf “ opens the Averardo vault for Rovers once more, while new companion story “Sail Day, Captain” brings them to the captivating journey with Brant. Both will become permanently available on February 13 together with the release of the new version.
“Waves Sing and the Cerulean Birds Call” brings the brand-new area of Rinascita to explore – the Riccioli island, located in the northern seas. There, Rovers can meet new Echoes and help Phoebe to solve the crisis in the fisherman village.
Aside from story events, the new update brings new weekly challenges, events and improvement in user experience. Changes will occur in echoes management and camera mode features. With the new version, the game receives the support of RTX for PC. But, most importantly, starting on March 27th players will be able to enjoy Wuthering Waves on Mac, as it makes its way to the Mac App Store.
Wuthering Waves – Version 2.1 Events Include:
- Gifts of the Blue Waters – a 7 days Sign-in Event.
- Old Man and the Whale – experience new fishing mechanics, exploring the seas around Riccioli island.
- Apex Ragunna – Co-op Overdash – use utilities to dash through Raguna beautiful scenery in a parkour challenge.
- Beyond the Waves – Lollo Logistics partnered with Pioneer association once again. Upload your exploration records to get rewards.
- Infinite Battle Simulation II – Black Shores has made a breakthrough and created a more immersive battle simulator.
- Tactical Simulacra III – A new round of testing for the Academy enemy simulating technology.
New Permanent Challenges Await
- Tactical Hologram: Hecate – Utilize tactics and special mechanics to defeat a copy of an old enemy.
- Whimpering Wastes – Challenge enemies across the three seas and get enough tokens to earn the rewards.
- Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways – new Weekly Combat.
