During last week’s Gamescom 2017 in Germany, Nintendo showed off almost an hour of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on Switch. Fans of the series certainly have something to look forward to this holiday season.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Players of the first game will immediately recognize the way the second game goes down. The whole world is spread on the backs of the Titans. These creatures float through a sea of clouds with most of the action taking place on the surface. However, in XC2, players will head to Uraya, a location inside one of the Titans. As with anything beneath the surface, Uraya is cave-like including rivers and kind of a phosphorescent glow.
You’ll immediately notice improvements in the fighting style too. Each piece of Art has its own dedicated button on the Joy-Con. Depending on Blades, Arts manifest differently including elemental effects.
There isn’t a firm release date for the game yet, though Nintendo did promise this holiday season.
