Yakuza 3, 4, & 5 Remastered Collection announced

Between now and February, fans of the Yakuza series will be pretty busy after yesterday’s announcement of the Remastered Collection. After remastering the first two games in the series, Sega has announced that 3, 4, and 5 will also be undergoing the same treatment.

Yakuza 3 is already available for those who purchase the collection on the PlayStation Store. The fourth game will be out on October 29th and the fifth on February 11th. The digital three-game collection costs $59.99. A Day One physical edition will also be available on February 11th that will include all three games inside a specially-created red case.

The games will ship with a number of big improvements to visuals, story, and features as well as a number of quality of life improvements. Several pieces of the story have been restored after being cut in the original release. Several mini-games will also be reinstated including Mahjong, Massage Parlor, Shogi, and Cabaret.
