Ubisoft has announced new content for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. The game is blasting into its first season of Year 3 with Operation Chimera and a limited-time event entitled Outbreak.
OPERATION CHIMERA
In the world of Siege, biological and chemical attacks are on the rise and to meet the threat, a new unit, the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Threat Unit was created. Being its own, distinct counter-terrorist unit, CBRN sends two new Operators into the fray with their own unique specializations.
One Operator controls drones to maintain quarantine zone while the other’s specialties center around nanobot research.
These Operators will be playable alongside legacy Operators in the multiplayer roster and in Operation Chimera’s limited-event:
OUTBREAK
This event will drop you into the heart of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico – a town consumed by an epidemic. You will have to assemble your best team of three to identify and neutralize the threat! This cooperative event will only be available for a limited time, but it will be free for everyone who has a copy of Rainbow Six Siege. Throughout Outbreak, you will have the opportunity to snag some event-exclusive headgears, uniforms, season skins, and charms.
