While the fledgling Proxies are busy conquering the streets of New Eridu and the challenges of Hollow Zero, developer HoYoverse shared a Zenless Zone Zero cutscene. Titled ‘Flickering Candlelight’, it features the agents of Section Six, mainly Hoshimi Miyabi, take on a powerful Ethereal that left even Phaethon petrified. If you haven’t progressed far enough in the story to meet Section Six, beware of spoilers!

Additionally, the Zenless Zone Zero devs have taken to the official site to introduce an upcoming character: an officer of New Eridu Public Security and Zhu Yuan’s partner (often in crime), Qingyi. But she’s not the only new character standing guard over the peace of New Eridu citizens! Another new upcoming character is Seth Lowell from the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team alongside with Qingyi & Zhu Yuan. He is a bright and cheerful young man that acts friendly and harmless… but when that doesn’t work, he’s not afraid to let his fists talk for him.
