Say hello to Zenless Zone Zeros’ own mechanical mission specialist and heavy hitter, Grace.
Belobog Heavy Industries’ mech head extraordinaire is the latest Zenless Zone Zero character to get a teaser trailer. Released earlier today and following on from the likes of Koleda’s earlier intro, the new teaser is an animated introduction to an S-Rank agent with some shockingly powerful skills.
While the rest of this construction crew are ready to do combat and use overwhelming force to end any threat to a construction timeline, Grace is a more considered actor than some. Wielding what looks like a whopping great nail gun, grace is lured into danger with the prospect of finding and deconstructing a contorted machine. This analytical approach, and character quirk, isn’t just displayed in the new trailer. It extends into the in-game action. Giving us a glimpse of her power, Grace can be found fighting alongside Koleda, providing powerful support functions thanks to shock damage and an Anomaly specialization. Grace also wields a powerful demolition blast, allowing this inquisitive character to build up stacks of damage and finish off enemies with an explosive application of electricity.
Thanks to the in-engine animation, the Grace character demo gives us a good idea of what to expect when Grace arrives in Zenless Zone Zero. While we won’t find out a huge amount about her backstory now, there isn’t long to wait until HoYoverse launch their latest on PC and mobile. Set in a dystopian world where reality is torn to shreds, players can protect the last bastion of civilization from the threats that loom large. Navigate the mysterious Hollows and use a range of quirky, and powerful, characters to brawl across realities and experience the incredible combat systems that have had us hyped for the latest game from the Genshin Impact team.
