HoYoverse just dropped a Koleda Character Trailer introducing this playable character and president of Belobog Heavy Industries.
HoYoverse dropped another teaser trailer for upcoming action adventure Zenless Zone Zero last night. Ahead of the upcoming PS5, PC, and mobile testing phases, players can introduce themselves to madame president Koleda. Check out the trailer, above, to hear the tall tales of this outgoing kid with a big hammer.
Each character trailer of this type tends to give potential Proxies an opportunity to understand the backstory of new Eridu’s most important playable characters. For the likes of Nicole, Anby, and Nekomata it introduced the tall tales behind the members of the Cunning Hares. In this case, it introduces a new faction in the city and a team of construction site heavies who excel at clearing up potential dangers when they halt work. Like other character trailers, this lore snippet takes the form of an animated comic strip. Don’t expect any flashy in game footage. The release of this backstory for the unexpectedly heavy hitting melee character is likely to be followed by an in-game demo, which will give us a look at the character’s combat abilities. While this hasn’t appeared yet, we do know a little from previous tests. Koleda might look small, but this smashing option wields a big hammer. Based on fire and physical damage, their move set isn’t nearly as acrobatic as Anby’s but isn’t quite as stand off as the likes of Billy.

Zenless Zone Zero is the forthcoming urban ARPG from HoYoverse. The studio behind Genshin Impact drop the fantasy settings of the their smash hit and take this tale to a dystopian world where humanity fights for survival. A single beacon of civilization, New Eridu, stands among the chaos. When it launches, players will explore this expansive urban environment, filled with intriguing characters and exciting landmarks. However, reality rips through daily life in the form of vicious tears in reality, even interrupting construction work. Only a handful of brave or talented individuals can navigate these bubbles and fend off the monsters that seep between dimensions to make a living. From these unique personalities and their distinctive playstyles, players can pick up a controller and experience the remarkable combat that amazed us at Gamescom 2023.
