The developers of urban action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero are back with the latest Ridu Renovation dev talk, outlining new features and enhancements coming in Version 1.4. Hollow Zero – Lost Void
In the new update, ZZZ will receive an all-new gameplay mode called Lost Void. You will be able to play as Agents to explore this unwelcoming area. If your characters aren’t strong enough, you can use the Power Adaptation function to boost their stats to match the level of the challenge.
In Lost Void, Proxies can obtain Gear through exploration. In turn, can grant Agents powerful new skills and bonus affects. At first, the Potential Catalyst system will be available for four Agents: Hoshimi Miyabi, Tsukishiro Yanagi, Ellen Joe, and Billy Kid. In future versions more Agents will unlock their Potential Catalyst system.
All-new Permanent Gameplay: Deadly Assault
In Deadly Assault, Proxies can challenge powerful enemies and obtain Polychromes, Investigation Merits, Dennies, and other rewards.
In each Season, players will need to test their mettle against up to three highly dangerous enemies. Each enemy has its own unique mechanics and multiple stacks of HP. As the enemy’s HP decreases, its power gradually rises.
When attempting the challenge, Agents and Bangboo used for each enemy cannot be reused. Make sure to plan your strategy wisely based on the enemy’s traits!
Shiyu Defense: Critical Node – Quick Sweep Function
In the new Shiyu Defense mission, Proxies can quick-clear certain stages based n the S rating of the highest Frontier cleared the the previous Shiyu Defense: Critical Node mission. Ideally, Proxies will be able to start challenge from the Fourth Frontier.
The update schedule for Shiyu Defense: Critical Node will be changed. In the future, it will alternate with Deadly Assault on Fridays, with each lasting two weeks.
