The developers of urban action Zenless Zone Zero had been on hand during the latest special program dedicated to Version 1.4: A Storm of Falling Stars. And from everything the team has shown – from a free S-rank Agent, to all the new gameplay and optimizations… If you haven’t played ZZZ yet or have taken a break, this will be the perfect time to get in on the action.
Version 1.4 comes as a culmination of everything that we’ve seen in Zenless Zone Zero up to this moment. Arriving on December 18th, it will see heavy overhauls to many areas of the game, including the TV mode in the main storyline. Players will also be able to explore new areas of Port Eplis and Reverb Arena and meet two new S-rank Agents: Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa.
In fact, Harumasa will be joining players for free! That is not the reason to skip on getting all the Polychromes you can, so don’t forget to activate the special program promocode VOIDHUNTER, and participate in the pre-registration event!
In the main quest, the agents from Section 6 will join forces with previously encountered heroes and factions, such as the Sons of Calydon, Belobog Heavy Industries, Victoria Housekeeping, and others. New revelations and cruel truths of Belle’s and Wise’s story will be revealed.
In addition to the main story chapters, Proxies will get a chance to get to know Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa a bit closer. That includes Harumasa’s TV Schedule “Windchaser Harumasa” as well as his agent story “A Name Written in Water”.
An important battle update comes to the use of Decibels. In combat, Decibels will no longer be shared across the squad, allowing all squad members to unleash their stunning Ultimates in a row for even more spectacular battle scenes.
Zenless Zone Zero – Version 1.4 Character Banners:
Unlike the previous versions, the two featured character banners in V1.4 will be running simultaneously for the whole duration of the patch from December 18 to the end of the version. Additionally, the Agents’ S-rank signature engines will be available simultaneously as well.
Note that the update also introduces the Section 6 S-rank Agent Gulliver.

- A-rank: Piper (Physical Anomaly), Soukaku (Ice Support)
As a Frost Anomaly Agent, Miyabi can surround enemies with Icefire, causing Frost Anomaly and triggering special effects. With swift movements and precise slashes, she accumulates Fallen Frost to unleash a powerful forward attack, dealing devastating Frost damage before elegantly sheathing her blade.
The second banner includes:
- S-rank: Asaba Harumasa (Electric Attack)
- A-rank: Lucy (Fire Support), Seth (Electric Defense)
As an Electric Attack Agent, Harumasa seamlessly switches between bow and blade, marks targets, and delivers unexpected strikes to enemies with active Electro Quivers.
