Zenless Zone Zero’s favorite daughter Hoshimi Miyabi is almost here. Version 1.4: A Storm of Falling stars kicks off tomorrow, bringing in new areas, new characters and story awaits, in addition to some pretty serious gameplay enhancements. Players will be able to recruit Asaba Harumasa (S-rank, Electric Attack) for free and spend their hard-earned Polychromes on Hoshimi Miyabi herself.
Miyabi is the youngest known Void Hunter to date, and the teaser you can find above shows what accomplishments granted her the title. The legend single-handedly dealt with a massive Hollow in under 5-minutes, sword in hand, against the wishes of her superiors. The obvious corruption in the ranks also led Miyabi to form her own task force, known as Section 6, recruiting two staff members that opposed the destruction of a Shiyu Pillar and sacrifice of over 200 people.
In doing so, she really became the kind of hero her mother wanted her to be:
“Heroes aren’t born to destroy, Miyabi. They’re born to protect.”
Hoshimi Miyabi (S-rank Anomaly) has a unique Frost attribute and an independent Attribute Anomaly Buildup gauge. She can increase all members’ Anomaly Buildup Rate to quickly apply Attribute Anomalies on enemies. By triggering Disorder with the other squad members, she obtains Fallen Frost points. She then draws her blade and unleashes a powerful slash ahead, dealing massive damage.
In other ZZZ news, HoYo also showed a couple of new characters slated to arrive in V1.5: Astra Yao and Evelyn Chevalier.
