The developers of urban action Zenless Zone Zero are back with another video for Tsukishiro Yanagi, an upcoming S-rank Electric Anomaly joining the cast in Version 1.3. The character teaser, titled ‘Oni Guardian’, explores Yanagi’s past and the circumstances that led to her relationship with little oni Soukaku.
“Human and Oni blood… Flows together in your veins now. Live on, and finish what I never could. Don’t let our blood… be spilled in vain.”
Since the events of the teaser, both Tsukishiro Yanagi and Soukaku have joined Section 6, a frontline unit of the of Hollow Special Operations led by Hoshimi Miyabi. Yanagi is the Deputy Chief that seemingly acts as the mom of the group, taking care of endless tasks that keep the unit afloat.
However, Yanagi is way more than a paper pusher. On the battlefield, she is an impressive S-rank Electric Anomaly Agent who can rapidly accumulate Anomaly Buildup and increase the whole team’s Disorder damage. Wielding her Naginata, Yanagi’s Ex Special Attack triggers extra Polarity Disorder, which can rapidly deal massive amounts of damage to enemies.
