Penko Park is out now on Nintendo Switch, taking monster hunting on the go in an abandoned wildlife park.
Forget Pokémon Snap, head out into the wild and hunt some unusual wildlife as Penko Park launches on Switch. Available today, the port of this unusual PC playdate is a unique opportunity to take a step out into an abandoned wildlife park and photographing the residents. Over the course of an on rails ride around an extensively eerie backdrop, anybody eager to get snap happy can find a huge variety of over 140 mysterious inhabitants scattered around the park.
Originally founded in 1952 by the supremely honorable Sir Rubertus Penko, this weird and wonderful area of the world should have been the greatest wildlife attraction of all time. Instead, all that’s left is the tour guide Penki, you, a complimentary Penko Snap-A-Lot 9000™ device, and lots of eccentric entities.
Across mountains, grassland, autumnal forests, and, more players will collect and capture the likeness of the park’s critters, interact with the environment, and fill out details in your very own handbook. Unlike the adorable Puperazzi, I don’t think you’ll be able to pet these animals. With a bit of Pokémon Snap and a lot of Halloween, Penko Park is surprisingly entertaining. You can grab this new port of Penko on Nintendo Switch now via the Nintendo eShop or have a look at the recent Shivering Crypts PC update on Steam now.
