Elon Musk Reveals The First Tesla Electric Pick Up Starting At $39k!

If there is one thing we love here at Gamespace, that is leading edge tech and Tesla is that in truck loads!

Whether its in the air with SpaceX, on a house with solar energy or boring us with flamethrowers Elon Musk always delivers a conversation piece and boy what a conversation his latest reveal is causing with the Tesla Cybertruck! Along with many others I was counting down to the live reveal from the Design Studio in Hawthorne, California, just outside Los Angeles and I was not disappointed.

There are so many video’s out there today and I am linking this one because it focuses on the interior and drive opportunity for those who were there at the live event. Technology-focused Youtuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) shares reactions along with similar thoughts on what really grabbed my attention – the Cybertruck doesn’t look any other truck on the market and yes we could jump on board the “windows broke” doom train but that’s not what is the most incredible news.

Two versions of the Cybertruck below 50k which is super impressive alongside the MPH especially in the Tri Motor AWD but what really tickles my hype radar is the 100W battery capacity – the current Model S is the only other Tesla model that comes close to the Cybertruck and starts from $70,115 indicating efficiency improvements to electric car manufacturing at Tesla.

Cybertruck is built with an exterior shell that is an impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for superior strength and endurance, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin to Tesla armor glass. Here’s an introduction to more in-depth insight from one more Youtuber who was at the live event and is dedicated to Teslanomics – Ben Sullins.

For me personally I just love the video game Bladerunner appeal. The Cybertruck is a head turner, something that will make you look twice if its in your rear view mirror especially. Elon and the Tesla team have gone out of their way to make every component a thoughtful difference all the way down to the headlight shapes and rims. The wheels are monster!

Here in Texas where everything is bigger and better I am curious to see how the current market leaders for pick up trucks will fair alongside the Tesla Cybertruck. Certain model car drivers are creatures of habit so I don’t see any real concern, if anything just having the futuristic choice along with traditional model electric pick up by the likes of Ford makes for a healthier market. If only I could say the same about the bill (SB 14150) preventing Tesla from selling cars not only in Texas but also Michigan, New Mexico, Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, Connecticut, Nebraska, Oklahoma and West Virginia BUT that’s a whole other story.

After watching all the tests, all the way down to the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) getting plugged in on the back at the end – this household is excited to see how this proto-type evolves.

What do you think of the Tesla Cybertruck? Have you put in your order? Hate it or love it, there is no in between and thanks to folks like Elon Musk the future is feeling like it’s already here.

You’ll find ordering and more information on the Tesla Website.
