Brut@l is an independent Action RPG where your hero dives into a world of ASCII art and must survive in the depths of dungeons while fighting off hordes. Its intent is to evoke the classic ASCII dungeon crawlers of a bygone era while bringing the mechanics into the present with action RPG combat and a stylized approach to the ASCII art aesthetic. First launched on PS4 in 2016, it then followed up with a Steam launch in 2017. Both versions are nearly identical, and share the same roguelike elements where your goal is to see how far you can go before you die. Build weapons, craft potions, collect loot, and kill baddies... that's the name of the game in Brut@l.
