Conan Chop Chop Release Date Announced

Conan Chop Chop, the hilarious Conan co-op game from Funcom has a release date and a brand new trailer to celebrate the news.

Originally an April fool’s joke that made its way to E3 and Gamescom, Conan Chop Chop is one of those off the wall ideas that actually made a great game. Now, publisher Funcom has confirmed that the title will conquer PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on February 25th, 2020. Taking the deadly world of Conan the Barbarian and squeezing it don into a cute Chibi form, the Chopping co-op is a top-down adventure game where players can roam the land hack and slashing heir way through dungeons, bosses, and their own frustration.

Cute Carnage

The comic take on the traditionally grim fantasy genre is clearly part of the game’s charm and while the treacherous wizard Thoth-Amon has a deadly serious plan to raise the ancient evil Xaltotun, Conan has never been so much fun. The game combines the expected roguelike elements, a character progression system, epic quests, and a ton of loot to pick up. Before you take down this evil entity and its wizard minion you’ll stare down The Giant Sand Worm of Koth and The Frost Giant of Vanaheim, learning some awesome combos along the way to ensure that maximum damage is dealt.

Conan Chop Chop is just one of a slew of Conan games of late. We recently covered the new update to Conan Exiles, and Conan Unconquered brought a twist to the RTS genre of late with a co-op experience form developer Sparkpan ts. Conan seems to be having something of a resurgence of late and it’s all thanks to original ideas like Conan Chop Chop.
