Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Rolls Onto Consoles Today

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is bringing the cut and thrust of a magical RPG to consoles, and the adventure starts today.

Out today on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this classic RPG is a time-honored tale of Dungeons and Dragons that drags players back into a classic title for over 1000 hours of award-winning adventure. The Enhanced Edition of this RPG delivers all the same cut and thrust that veteran D&D players will be used to, alongside every DLC imaginable. The original 2002 campaign comes with 100 extra hours of DLC. 10 stand-alone D&D adventures also join the bundle and feature both online multiplayer and co-op action. The game’s expansions are not left out either. The Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansions are available to play.

Wield A Console and Shield

While Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition has a ton of prefabricated content, developer Deamdog brought a whole chest full of extras for last year’s PC release and we are likely to see some of these hit the console version. This includes improved graphic options that will support high definition displays and widescreen formats. UI and controls have been reworked for the console adventurer, allowing the mouse and keyboard to take a back seat and making the entire experience more intuitive on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Finally, the in-game engine should see players reveling in the enhanced graphical fidelity that comes with a 2019 release.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is a recent iteration of a classic RPG tale. Developed by Bioware all the way back in 2002, this title came long before the days of Mass Effect and brought the Forgotten Realms D&D campaign to the digital realm. The game was an almost instant classic, allowing over 60 players to log in and take on a particular scenario online. With over 60 hours of solo play alone and the same magic that made the physical campaigns so successful, it is no wonder there’s some hype among our Discord for this title.

Alongside the digital release, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition gets a physical copy across all console platforms, so you won’t need to settle for digital loot. You can find out more about Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition over on the game’s official website, or check out the PC release on Steam now.
