Mutant Year Zero: Seed of Evil
Seed of Evil is the first expansion to Mutant Year Zero and it sends players off again right where they left off. There are new places to visit, new mysteries to solve, and a brand new character to try out. It’s available with the Xbox Game Pass.
The Blackout Club
Horror fans will definitely want to take a look at The Blackout Club, a co-op game that sends teens to check out a “monstrous secret beneath the skin of their small town”. All missions are procedurally-generated as players try to find a monstrous evil that can only be seen with their eyes closed.
Super Wiloo Demake
This week’s weirdest game name puts players in the shoes of Wiloo and Agatha who are trying to rescue their beloved pupper from the evil Dr. ETValdo. Players will need to put their platforming skills to the test as they “roll, fly, jump, and shoot their way across a variety of different levels”. There are five bosses to take down on the way to finding their best good boy.
The Tower of Beatrice
It’s all about sticky fingers in The Tower of Beatrice as players try to get inside her mysterious home to steal her Book of Recipes. The goal is to actually do that AND make it out alive. While trying to find the book, players will do all sorts of crazy things like assembling a skeleton, drinking tea with a demon, and feeding a snail.
50 courses, tons of aircraft and thrilling challenges will provide hours of fun for the entire family. Players will choose their favorite pilot to go exploring a tropical paradise while using their awesome skills to “soar through sensational and tricky courses”.
Solo: Islands of the Heart
Explore concepts of love through introspection. Players will “identify and reflect on their own experiences in a world that’s divided into archipelagoes”. Each one has its own unique puzzle to solve along the way.
The Church in Darkness
This one seems truly unique. The protagonist’s nephew has become part of a mysterious cult. It’s the player’s job to infiltrate Freedom Town to see what’s really going on and whether or not your nephew is in need of rescue. Each playthrough will be a totally different experience which adds to replay value.
