EA has announced that female players are coming to NBA Live 19 for the first time in the franchise history, and indeed, for the first time in any basketball game.
“The inclusion of female players is an important step toward leveling the playing field and providing gamers increased opportunities to express their unique individuality and create a reflection of themselves while competing in the game.” EA has written.
Players will be able to create female characters and take them around the world in THE ONE. They’ll build a squad, take on global challenges and have access to the same progression as male characters. Male and female characters can play together on the same team in THE ONE too!
Using the NBA Live Companion app, female gamers can scan their faces and import them to the game to make a fully customized player. Icon Abilities will be “modeled after some of the greatest female ballers of all time”.
