We’ve got some new information on Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle thanks to a new character reveal trailer that’s been released at Gamescom this week, not only do we get to see some new gameplay but we get a more in-depth look at one of the characters we’ll have at our disposal, Rabbid Peach.

It seems that Rabbid Peach will be a real asset to our teams, not only is she a ranged support character, being able to not only heal from range but also shoot from range with her cannon, but she also seems to be an agitator-style character, being able to dash in and attack multiple enemies with her dash move before making a quick escape.

With regards to her weaponry, there are some interesting suggestions as to how she should be played in the early game, her two cheapest blasters specialize in taking down either mid-level bosses or Smashers which appear to be quite strong opponents. I wonder if this would suggest that Rabbid Peach is best used whittling away the health of enemy tanks from range, allowing the rest of your team to focus on other objectives. Her higher level cannons don’t have similar perks, instead, they simply increase their hit damage or secondary stats.

Rabbid Peach’s sentries also do quite decent damage but none of them will be able to utilize an area of effect larger than one cube so in Peach’s case they seem like they’ll be used to really hone in on and take out one enemy strategically.

I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on this game actually, I think it’ll be a lot of fun and will prove to be quite the challenge as well so if you’re equally curious to see what this title is like be sure to hit the keep checking back for more Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle coverage, in the meantime why not tell me what Switch titles you’re excited to get your hands on in the next few months but until next time have a great week and I’ll speak to you soon.
