During the Xbox Showcase, Bandai Namco and Reflector Entertainment were on hand to show off the exciting announcement trailer for Unknown 9: Awakening. The game was initially unveiled during Gamescom 2020, and is back with vengeance. Meet Haroona and check out her awesome powers as she embarks on a quest for the truth.
Unknown 9: Awakening is a third-person action-adventure that centers around Haroona’s ability to venture into the Fold, a mysterious parallel dimension. Such powers do not go unnoticed, and the protagonist quickly becomes the target of the Ascendants. This faction seeks to use the Fold to alter the course of human history.
The mastery over the Fold allows players to choose how to play the game. Step into your enemies to control them, dodge bullets, vanish in plain sight. Or maybe hurl Umbric energy at your opponents? There are more options yet. The developers invite players on a journey that would take them from the sands of Mauritania to perilous Indian jungles… and won’t stop there.
