Ride through a post apocalyptic landscape in Gripper, a new boss rush battler that mixes Mad Max and Akira-inspired visuals.

Developer Heart Core has announced that intriguing new post apocalyptic adventure Griper is heading out to get revenge in 2023. Due to ride onto PC and Consoles, this neon fuelled boss rush battler is set to challenge players to get on their bike and ride the wastelands of a desolate future atop a stylish motorbike.

Players powering through this upcoming title will encounter boss fights on wheels. Staying firmly planted to a sleek motorcycle, players will guide the central protagonist through a range of rip and grip scenarios. Boss battles will challenge speed demons to ride, slide, and dodge to master Gripper’s unique movement and combat mechanics. Using a mix of grappling hooks, breakable enemy parts, and powerful booster engines, players will face a unique set of combat experiences. To get through the ever tougher bosses, Gripper rewards players with special new abilities, gadgets, and even rare skins through every grueling encounter. This brand new mix of Akira inspired visuals in a Mad Max roadscape is more than a high speed hack and slash, however. Central character None’s story is one of mystery and loss. Travelers will traverse the dystopian cyber landscapes in search of answers to their past while helping None make vital choices.
