Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Will Have Exploration Mode

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will provide players with a choice in a variety of aspects. For example, you can choose the more traditional Guided mode or test your mapping skills in the new Exploration mode.

The Exploration mode will remove the helpful but often times annoying map markers and encourage players to investigate the world to uncover targets and quest objectives. Ubisoft has also mentioned that this is the way AC: Odyssey is meant to be experienced.

However, if investigating the surroundings for an hour only to find the most obvious solution is not up to your liking, worry not. You can pick the Guided mode that will reflect the map markers at all times and give you quest objectives automatically.
