Activision Blizzard Games Will Join Ubisoft+

While Microsoft is pursuing the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft has announced the signing of an agreement which will give the publisher cloud streaming rights to ActiBlizz games. The new agreement will come into effect after the closing of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Ubisoft+ subscription has never looked better!

This new agreement includes the complete slate of current ActiBlizz games as well as all their new titles that will be launched in the 15 years after closing the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.

“We’re dedicated to delivering amazing experiences to our players wherever they choose to play,” said Chris Early, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Ubisoft. “Over the past 15 years we’ve built and honed our online services and distribution ecosystem into one of the most complete in the industry. Today’s deal gives players even more opportunities to access and enjoy some of the biggest brands in gaming.”

Ubisoft+ (formerly known as Uplay) is a subscription-based service that offers access to Ubisoft’s growing catalog of 100+ games on PC, including new releases. In addition, Ubisoft+ includes additional content, such as expansions and season passes. You can also enjoy your subscription on your favorite devices with the Multi Access plan. You can also access Ubisoft games on PlayStation with the Ubisoft+ Classics subscription.

In case of the successful acquisition by Microsoft, Activision Blizzard games will arrive on Ubisoft+ while also allowing Ubisoft to license them to cloud gaming companies, service providers, and console makers.
