Square Enix held a Final Fantasy XIV announcement showcase to reveal the new expansion coming to the game. The new chapter of the game’s story is called Endwalker and will be arriving in Fall 2021.

An even greater calamity than refulgent oblivion has been building in their absence, however─a second advent of the Final Days. Should all despair, the myriad conflicts that now ravage the land cannot but foretoken an end to life in the Source.
