QuakeCon is returning to in-person attendance in 2023 after three long years of digital-only fan attendance. Starting Thursday, August 10th, and running through Sunday, August 13th, fans of all-things Quake can learn everything they want to know about their favorite games both in person and digitally thanks to live streaming. The event is being held in Grapevine, Texas at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. Fans will be able to get a peek at some of the most skilled FPS Quake players in the world as they face off in the Quake Pro League World Championship.

What’s happening at QuakeCon 2023
- Live streams begin on Thursday, August 10th at 1:00 pm Eastern / 10:00 am Pacific, with a welcome message from studio leaders. They’ll offer a look ahead at what’s in store throughout the weekend.
- BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) players can take part in 4-days of LAN gaming and visit the Nvidia Lounge. A slew of games will be on hand for everyone to enjoy playing.
- This year’s charity support is the American Red Cross which will be available at the venue for a blood drive. Other non-profits that will be on hand include 1UpOnCancer, Extra Life, and Trans Lifeline.
- Dallas Pets Alive will be on hand with furry friends up for adoption. This year’s t-shirts feature Bethesda games, including Starfield, Quake II, and Hi-Fi RUSH. Proceeds go to DPA.
- The community will shine in shows such as the Dirty Keyboard Contest, QuakeCon Quiz-a-Thon, and others.
- Streams will also include Elder Scrolls Online and other games.
- The 2023 Pro League Championship will start streaming on Thursday
- Selected games are up to 75% off during the convention.
