There were quite a few big name games coming out of Summer Game Fest this year. We are going to throw out a couple of the best ones that we are excited for.
The Callisto Protocol
The first and biggest one for me is The Callisto Protocol. With some of the designers from the original Dead Space on board this is the spiritual successor to Dead Space. As you watch the trailer you notice how many actions and movements are very Dead Space-like. This is not a bad thing at all because Dead Space is one of my favorite games. It is going to release on December 2 just in time for the holidays.
Stormgate
When ex-Blizzard developers get together things get done. Stormgate is what they have come up with. With a CG trailer to show off what it could be it has me colored intrigued. It has a Doctor working for a group that we don’t know the name of and some Diablo-esque creature shows up to try to kill her. Then a giant mech suit shows up to defeat the creature. It is crazy.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns
This one has been on my radar off and on for the last year or two. First we heard about it then it dropped off the planet and now it’s back again. The best news is that Spiderman will be gracing the games presence along with Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and more. It releases on October 7.
