Players Are Unhappy With Fallout 76 Testing

Fallout 76 Testing

Bethesda Softworks had seen a lot of fan’s unhappiness about Fallout 76 Testing. The first Xbox One testing started in the middle of the night for European players and lasted for four whole hours.

The second stage will be held on October 28, and will last only two hours and will similarly start very late for the European consumers. With the announcement of the second stage, many players have realized that few hours every few days is the format chosen by Bethesda – and decided to give the company a piece of their mind.

In response to the criticism, Bethesda had announced more opportunities to participate in the Xbox One beta.

The testing for PC and PlayStation 4 players will start on October 30.  Fallout 76 is slated to release on November 14 for PC, PS4 and XB1.

  1. Gamers are my favorite kind of people.

Scenario 1: company has an open beta that goes non-stop up until launch. Gamers bitch when nothing is fixed and say it was just a marketing gimick.

Scenario 2 – a company actually uses beta as a time to test things (we will have to wait to see if improvements are made). Gamers bitch that they pre-ordered and aren’t able to play the game during the beta.

    • From what I know, Fallout 76 Beta also has all the content of the full game up for testing, so unless regulated, the hardcore crowd can get through the entirety of game during testing and then find themselves un-interested when it actually goes live.

It is sort of damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.
